Our Company employs Unarmed and Armed Security Officers, Mobile Patrol Officers, Site Supervisors and Account Managers. We are a full-service, State-licensed Security Provider, PPO# 16495, and headquartered in Stockton, CA.

Role Responsibility:
As a Security Command Center Operator, you respond and assist security personnel in reporting emergency and non-emergency events to the Security Command Center. As a Command Center Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring multiple security systems to aid in the safety and security of persons and properties. The Command Center Operator is required to detect unfavorable situations, dispatch security officers, and make proper notifications to the appropriate level of management.
Detailed duties include, but not limited to

  • Reporting and notifications; providing interface during critical and non-critical emergency events from report to resolution. In addition providing constant information updates wherever applicable in an effort to ensure situation, events, incidents are resolved in an appropriate manner.
  • Access control; using CCTV to monitor exterior doors, building perimeters and sensitive building areas; acknowledge forced open and held open alarms; monitor badge activities; monitor and verify access; provide momentary door unlocks and access to card-reader doors and garage gates
  • Customer service; ensure that all forms of communication (email, phone conversation etc) are all done in a courteous and professional manner; serving as an emergency information communications system for a high profile client
  • Life safety and emergency response; ability to guide and assist clients during emergency and non-emergency situational phone calls (trapped elevator).
  • Monitor alarms, alerts, and notifications (Examples of current systems include room alarms, power alarms, gas-monitoring system, temperature control system, etc.)
  • Operating Instructions (OIs) to coordinate emergency evacuation(s) and emergency dry runs.
  • Additional duties may be assigned, modified or added time to time

You will also need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible, security related experience
  • Prior work experience with security systems, including access control systems, alarm monitoring, closed circuit television systems, telecommunications systems, and video surveillance
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Law enforcement experience
    • Service in the Elite Military Forces, Military Police or combat arms
    • Graduate of Police/Corrections Academy
    • Career Military

Other Qualifications that may increase your potential for selection:

    • 7 years of progressively responsible, security related experience
    • Working knowledge of best practice processes and involvement in one or more security projects

Skills Required

You will also need the following skills to be a successful Security Command Center Operator:

  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age
  • Be willing and able to work flexible schedules. This site is 24/7 operation
  • Must not use illegal drugs.
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military.

Physical Requirements and Environment
Major activity: Working on PC and using telephone while sitting.
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching.
